Oakland-East Bay Gay Men's Chorus performs a wide variety
of repertoire in 3 seasonal concert series and numerous
special performances throughout the year.
We have two
performance ensembles, OEBGMC, our large group, and On Q,
our twelve voice select ensemble. OEBGMC rehearses on
Thursday evenings, from 7:15pm until 9:45pm at St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, near Children's Fairy Land, in
the Lake Merritt neighborhood of Oakland. On Q rehearses on Monday evenings, from 7:15pm until 9:15pm.
Though we are
called Oakland-East Bay, we encompass a broad geographic area.
We even have singing members who join us from as far as San
Jose and Napa.

May 4th: 7pm

7th: 7pm to 9pm @ Lakeshore Avenue Baptist Church, in
Oakland-Lake Merritt.

Audition
Process
1.
Contact us to reserve an
audition time. Walk-ins are also welcome, but you may have to
wait a while.
2. When you
arrive, we will have an audition form for you to fill out.
3. Auditions
will be conducted by the Artistic Director or Assistant
Conductor.
4.
Singers will be evaluated on pitch memory, intonation, tone
and sight reading.
5. No song
preparation is required.
6. Singers
who make the cut will receive a phone call within a few days.
